Request Forms

Usually request forms are used to generete new items. If you want to start an approval of an existing item, you won't need a request form.

If you want to trigger an approval process for a newly generated item through a request form, you could do so by linking an approval process to a specific workflow status and assigning this status through the request form.

Stu Davidson - There are multiple ways to do each depending on what you want to do. 

Starting with Request Forms: 

Click to add the approval and then fill out the setting you want: 

This adds an approval to the task that was created from the request from. 

Next you can add an approval from a workflow:

Last option for larger projects, I've set up a specific approval step:

So this last step, while not an "approval" through Wrike, is what we use to approve that Phase 2 is completed in this project.
