Retain description when timer is paused but entry is not yet added?
When pausing the timer without adding the entry I cannot enter a description and have that description saved (the description only gets saved if I add the entry). I bounce back and forth between different tasks throughout the day but would prefer only a single time entry per task per day - so it is preferable to pause the timer on a task and then start it back up again when I return to that task later in the day (vs simply adding the entry every time I stop the timer, which would end up creating multiple entries throughout the day for the same task). However, since the description is not retained when pausing without adding the entry, I have to wait until the end of the day to add my description, by which time I have forgotten everything I've done on that task.
It would be better if the description was simply retained in the timer window and allowed me to add to it throughout the day, until the end of the day when I finally add the entry. The reason I don't want to have multiple entries per day per task is it creates more work when adding those timelogs into Quickbooks for invoicing (which is a manual process....though even if it were an automated process it would still look messy in the invoice to have so many different entries for the same project on the same day - much better to consolidate all into a single entry per project per day).
Hi Anastasia, yes that could be a work around. Thanks so much for the idea!
