NEW DASHBOARDS
I have created new dashboards with the new features to my personal space. I've shared them with my team. How do I get them to be attached to the top of the navigation side bar (Dashboards in custom menu) so that users can locate them quickly? (other than "pinning" them)
Hi Ann Drury-Thompson, welcome to the forums 👋
Aside from pinning dashboards, you can also create a dashboard for a particular space, it will be visible in the "Tools" section:
Can this be helpful?

Lisa,
I'm not understanding how Wrike is moving forward with the top Dashboard navigation menu where you can toggle between dashboards? That feature has been so effective and efficient ... I navigate multiple dashboards 500 times a day.
Now, with this NEW Dashboard rollout... since I can't add my new dashboard to that menu... I have to find it among all of my other tools, folders and pinned items. Its a new process so I'm just curious what's happening to that top Dashboard navigation menu?
Ann,
New dashboards do not have a list of dashboards (drop-down) to switch to other dashboards. The reason is that this list is only useful when there are not too many dashboards. It becomes unnavigable and doesn't scale well as the number of dashboards grows, and there have been numerous complaints from other users about this.
New dashboards are organized via tools in spaces, and every dashboard belongs to a specific space, and that's where users should look for them. While it doesn't solve all navigation issues, it makes it possible to organize dashboards according to their functional/organizational relationship. It's also possible and recommended for users to pin their favorite dashboards to the sidebar.
Can you please elaborate on what is not working for you personally and for your team with this navigation model?
Okay. What's not working now... I need to change our process and provide critical training support again. And found its searching for a dashboard through 100+ folders, reports, multiple team member dashboards, calendars, etc. All bundled under tools and pinned.
Lightspeed rolled out only 3 months ago with that new Dashboard menu and we've perfected it through hours of training and process changes...and it lived up to a really efficient fast navigation process. I'm just bummed you're walking away from it.
Hey Ann, I'm sorry to hear that but to be fair New Dashboards are not related to Lightspeed in any way and are still in the Labs so if they're breaking your workflows somehow we simply recommend to wait for GA. We are making improvements continuously based on the feedback we are getting from you, our users, and there are still gaps that will be addressed eventually
