Custom Report Views

We have a Publishing Report that can pull in a lot of different fields. This report is used by multiple departments but each has different needs for the data.

Is there a way for each department to create a custom view of the report without having to always go in and re-check the fields needed and re-order them (which would affect everyone' else's view of the report).

For example: Marketing may only want to see Fields 1, 3, 5. Editorial wants to see 1,2,4. Production wants 1, 5, 2 (this is an oversimplified  list to make the point). 

I know I can create Duplicate Reports, but then if I add new projects to the original, they won't show up in the duplicates unless I manually add to all of them.
