Assign custom item type from outlook add-in

Hi Lisa I have the same issue as Giuseppe. We are moving away from regular tasks and only using custom item types. On top of that, our coworkers don't have access to the item type itself (as it exists in a space they don't have access to). The two ways for them to create a task is either to go through a form, or through a blueprint. This means it is impossible for them to create a task through the outlook add-in then change the item type in Wrike. 
Is it possible to know what was shared by the Support team, or if there is any workaround? Thanks a lot!

Good morning, 

Any update on the above item. We are looking to roll out the Outlook- Wrike integration in the new year but similar to Camille, we dont use the out of the box task as it exposes confidential information. Was hoping our could pick or limit the types of item types the create via outlook.

Hi Kim! 😊 Here’s what was shared by the Support team: at this time, the Outlook add-in cannot assign a Custom Item Type; items created via the add-in are always standard tasks.
