Ability to set *project* end date based on duration

I would like to have the ability to set the end date of a Project based on the duration (# of days) from the start date (like you can with tasks).

Some of our spaces utilize only projects with no sub-tasks, usually as "leads" for sales. I'd like to be able to set a duration to the project end based on when the quote is submitted (i.e. 14 days) to show when to follow up.

We don't want to use sub-tasks on these because it creates too much work/too many lines, and if the quote is accepted, the project is moved to production where they add their own sub-tasks as needed.

Is this something that could be looked at as an added feature?

Hi Laurel Morrison, thank you very much for sharing this suggestion with the Community! I've passed your feedback to our Product Development Team and we will keep you updated if any changes are made to this feature.

At the moment, the best workaround would be to have at least one task inside the project only to be able to add dates to it and in the New Table View enable the option to aggregate this information so the dates entered into the task will populate the dates of the project:

You can enable the aggregation option to dates by clicking on the MIN and MAX options in the start and end dates. If you have any additional questions regarding this feature, please let us know.
