I think it would be really useful if automation options allowed more overlap between task-based or project-based parameters.
Use case example:
Currently, our team uses request forms to delegate work to the various departments, and we want to assign people to tasks dynamically rather than manually adding them to each task. I'm trying to utilize an automation that would populate assignees to tasks (that are assigned to job roles) based on the project owners.
I'm able to achieve this result with 2 automations:
- Add the project to a person's folder if they are a project owner
- Assign person to any new tasks in their folder that are assigned to their job role
Having to create 2 automations per each team member is a bit tedious—I feel like this could be achieved in 1 automation if "Project Owners" was a condition for tasks and not just Projects.
I'm sure there are other overlapping conditions that could be useful, but this would be really helpful for our team!
