Task Duration from Blueprint via Request Form
Hello,
I'm hoping someone can help with the following.
We use blueprints to create tasks with specific durations, i.e. Task Type A always is 2 weeks in duration and when creating from Blueprint we set the start date and the task is created automatically with this 2 week duration from the start date.
We are currently setting up a Request Form to streamline task creation from the multiple Blueprints we have but cannot crack the following:
- When creating a task from Blueprint or replacing task w/ Blueprint via Request Form we can set the Start Date using a quesiton in the form, but instead of applying, for example, the 2 week duration from the Blueprint, this creates a task with 1 day duration.
It seems like the only option is to specify both the start and end dates in the request form to be able to create a task with correct duration from the Blueprint which then introduces inconsistency and inefficiency we were avoiding by specifying the task dates in the Blueprints themselves.
Am I missing something here maybe or is there a way to have the Blueprint communicate this default duration when being created via the Request Form?
