Using Space-Level Custom Item Types in Blueprints
Hi, I'm finding that I can't add space-level custom item types to blueprints. This is a key feature that I'd need for our organization to be able to adopt custom item types. Do you recommend that we only create account-level custom item types if we are heavy blueprint users?
I have this need too. My custom item types have no relation to other spaces in the organization, but I need them in every project. Adding them manually is a bit of a pain point.
Hi folks, thank you for sharing this feedback! Our team is planning to release space-level blueprints, and that release should lift this current limitation. For now, we do recommend using account-level custom item types in this case 👍

Is there a way to "promote" a space level custom item type (and its workflow) to an account level type? Or do we have to manually rebuild them to use with Blueprints?

It would help tremendously if we're able to assign custom item types to tasks in blueprints. What's the timeline?

Space-level blueprints are available and you can select the type of blueprint you want to create: Task, project, folder, or a custom item type 🙂
