Hey seriously loads of love and all <3 but spellcheck is needed in the Desktop app like yesterday WT? was this an accident ?

I could load wrike into Fluid.app to make my own web app for her in like 4 clicks and it would have spellcheck!! 

i need this im not the best at spelling ;D <3 u 

Hi guys, currently spellcheck is only available in the browser version of Wrike. I can definitely see why having this is important so I have passed this feedback to our Product Team. Thank you for sharing here 👍

Hello, our team is on the Desktop version 1.1.0.  It now has spell check for the department/folder/task title section, and the description section.  Unfortunately, version 1.1.0 does not have spell check for the comments section.  We did find that you can go into Wrike Lab and turn on spell check there- it will then turn spell check on in comments. 

Please enable spell check for all character entry points.

Please. How can I change or add more languages to the spell checker function in the desktop app? All my danish notes become underlined with this ignoring red line.

Any plans for getting this finally sorted? I can't understand why the German spell check works for the comments section but not for the task description fields. Shouldn't be too difficult to get both right, or is it? Can't really sell this to the remaining users.🤔

Hi! I went to Wrike Labs and enabled spell check.  What else do I need to do to in Wrike to access it?  When I purposely type in spelling errors in the comment section, it doesn't do anything.

A couple things regarding spellcheck

1. It misses very common words...like "Wrike"
2. It does not allow us to "Add to Dictionary" like common spell-checking frameworks that really should be leveraged. Why go Bespoke?
3. Yes, why doesn't it work in comments, where I saw the bulk of the communication taking place?

I'm ready to turn it off

On previous versions of desktop app the spell check was working. On the latest is only on the comments. What happened?

Same here. I think spell check should be a priority. 

I need spell check on the desktop app in the descriptions section!  Right now only the comments and titles are spell checked on the desktop app.  

Can we get an update on when this feature will be available?  It makes using the desktop application much less efficient. 

This is a core attribute of any app. Frustrating not to have spellcheck on desktop.

This is a spit and polish item that I'm shocked isn't already there.

Everyone, please make sure to + at the top of this post.  I believe posts need at least 30 upvotes before they go into a queue for future changes.  This is an essential function of any communications application and should be addressed right away.  This makes using the desktop version of wrike extremely inefficient.  

Please add spell check to the desktop app. This would be BEYOND helpful and pretty essential. Especially when speaking to collaborators!!!

The spellcheck stopped working in the comments now too!  Please get spell check on the desktop app, I am switching back to using a web browser to run wrike.  Please get spellcheck working on the desktop app!

Thanks for passing on our input overall. Seems like spellcheck in the app should be a given. Personally, it's the reason I use the web version over the app. Thanks. 

Spell check doesn't need to be fancy, just has to protect me from the every day spelling. Considering they are using chromium to drive the desktop app. Spell check is there just some product manager apparently can spell and doesn't see the value in it. Yet I've got a boss who can smell a bad spelling from across the room and I've got no way of knowing words are wrong. 

Why would you even consider removing the spell check from the comments in the desktop app? Now I have to use the browser or look up words online. Hope you can bring it back very soon.

Why would you take it out?! This feature needs to be added back immediately. Even your message boards offer this fundamental feature. 🙃

The reason the Spellcheck feature was removed from the Desktop App's comments box was that the box needed to be updated. The Product team are investigating some issues that need to be solved for the spellchecker to work in the app, but for now, we recommend using the browser version if this feature is crucial to you. 

Once we have news from the Product team, we'll make sure to get back to you!

Just noticed a bunch of red squiggly lines in the task descriptions on my desktop app - has this been added in now??!

How do I globally turn off spell check?

I'm not writing in English and even if I was I want to be able to turn the feature off when needed.

How to turn off the spell checker? Or add a new language/dictionary? I do my notes in a language that is not accessible in Language Settings. With a new update, everything went red and is barely readable.
