Inbox Overflowing

I see that the inbox is now changed so if I @mention someone in a task, or bcc a task (that's already assigned to me and I sent in the bcc), it shows up in my Inbox.

This is bananas. The point of the inbox is for incoming stuff that is not me. Hence the name.

I emailed support and got this feedback -- "Inbox have now started showing your comments in it due to high demand for people to set up reminders this way for themselves, since prior to that they needed to ask someone else to @mention them in the task or update it otherwise."

The inbox should be for incoming stuff that I need to pay attention to, not stuff that I know happened because I did it.

Please add a way to shut this off. I comment on many, many tasks over the course of an average day and my inbox is quickly becoming annoying as opposed to the totally awesome tool it used to be.

PS -- Please announce changes. I don't know a lot of people who enjoy "surprise features".

Hi Dana, thanks for reacting so quickly to the latest updates and posting your feedback! We've received similar feedback from other users too, and we're going to be removing Inbox notifications for "my own comments" to rework the logic of this functionality, based on the comments we've received. As for release updates, they are posted in our weekly Release Notes section. Thanks so much for participating here and contributing!

Dana, thanks for following up! Since Release Notes are posted once a week, this update hasn't made it to the roundup yet, sorry about not being clear there. Larger releases also get announced in the "What's New" section at the very bottom of the Workspace, and another place to learn about updated is the Wrike Blog. Once again, thank you for taking an active position and voicing your concerns about a new release, the Product Feedback section is definitely the perfect place for this. :)

I get the daily digest on my email and I do not want any email either on my personal email nor on wrike inbox. I have unselected all notifications on settings, but I still get the email on Wrike Inbox. This overflows my inbox and it is a complete waste of time. Can you please show me how to get rid of those emails?

Hi Izmir, right now there isn't a way to completely turn off notifications in Wrike Inbox (the one inside of the Workspace). Is that what you were looking for? Or did you just want to turn off email notifications?

Hi Stephanie, that is what I wanted. Does any one on product development team read these? That is a problem. Wrike is supposed to be a notification customizable.

Hi Izmir, yes, we share all the feedback from the forums with our Product Team. It doesn't look like we specifically have a post asking to be able to mute all Inbox notifications. If you could create a new post that would allow others to upvote it and allow us to be able to more easily share feedback with the team.
