Time Tracking in IOS app
We like many of the capabilities in Wrike and are working to get our teams fully integrated with tracking projects, tasks, and time in wrike.
Having the ability to track time in the IOS App would be a huge improvement.
Currently we have to use other mobile app time trackers and then manually enter the data into Wrike and since the only way to enter time spent is by opening each task this is a significant time drain every week.
Is there any plan for if/when time tracking might be integrated into the IOS app?
Hi Sue, thank you for sharing your feedback about the iOS app! While the functionality between our mobile apps is currently a bit different, we already have a timer on our Android app, and we're working hard to ensure that users can enjoy the same set of features on both platforms. That said, it's possible to add time entries manually in the iOS app:
Hope this helps! Thanks again for posting this request, it's great to hear about what's important for you and your team :)
Currently, you can manually enter time from the app, but you cannot start or stop a timer. That would be a hugely beneficial feature. There have been times when a teammate left the office, realizing their timer was still running and had expressed interest in being able to log into the app to turn off the time. Similarly, there are teammates who are “on location” for a photo shoot or video shoot and would like to use the app to turn on a timer to track their time while on location.
Keeley thanks for adding to this request. The lack of the "live" time tracking in IOS wrike app costs our agency time and money. If not at a desk, which many of our team members are not, they have to use a different IOS time tracking app then manually go back in and enter time into the appropriate Wrike tasks. This is a big deal for our consultants and requires them to use otherwise billable hours. I would really like to see this as a priority feature update!
We would also like to have this feature on the iOS app. Would save us time and money.
My organization would also appreciate this feature. It definitely helps with those impromptu situations e.g. getting up and speaking with a colleague only to get wrapped up in conversation. I would like to stop my time tracking remotely then.
We would also really appreciate this feature as our techs use iPad's when they are on the go and this would make it easy to track that time.
Adding my name to this list. My team use all use Wrike on iPhone so this would be hugely beneficial and save a decent chunk of time in manually logging hours. I have been using the Android app with this feature enabled and having switched to iPhone find it frustrating that this isn't yet active on the iOS app.
Are there any updates as to when this feature will be added to the ios app?
After testing on android I was thrilled with the app, it seemed to do everything we wanted. And then a huge disappointment when we found the feature missing on the iphone app.
As there's a mix of iOS and Android users in our workforce, it's difficult for us to train them when the apps differ and this a key feature for why we're leaning towards choosing wrike for our project management software.
Please implement it soon!
Any update on implementing time tracking for iOS app please?
@Thread Apologies for the delayed reply here. Our team is planning on implementing this and it's on the roadmap (though not for this quarter). We'll make sure to update this thread as soon as we have more exciting news to share 🙌
This feature would make wrike much more powerful. I use wrike to run a IT service business. We have to use an entire different program to track time in the field. Would be nice to have much better time tracking system integration like tsheets, quickbooks, or accountsight. I feel the current timer is not very useful.
Our team would definitely like to see this functionality available on IOS as well. It works great on Android.
Wrike just do it already... Can I freelance for you and do it? Why is this not done yet?
Any Update on when this might happen? Surely this is why most people are downloading the app
I also wanted to request this feature. Are there any updates on when this is likely to be developed?

I would also like to request this feature. It ties up a lot of time tracking in a different app then going back and entering time into Wrike after the fact. This would make the app far more functional.
March 2019, another request for this seemingly basic but crucial feature! It’s all that’s holding my company back from abandoning Accelo in favor of Wrike! Also, when/if this feature is added, could it be made to time stamp recorded entries so I don’t also have to manually enter specific times for including on my invoices? Just have a entry on the stream with the date/time the timer data was recorded. Thanks!
waiting for an update
Hey guys, I'm sorry we haven't provided updates for a while; due to other researches and enhancements, this feature suggestion is not on the short-term roadmap yet, but our Product team is researching possibilities and might come up with a solution later this year. I'll update you here when I know more.

I’d also like to request this feature!
We would need tracker (play button) in iOS app too!
It would be very important like the Gantt Chart on ipad...
It’s 2020! This feature was requested back in 2017. Please add the play button to the iOS app so we can track our time going and coming from meetings away from the desktop. Thx
Hi everyone! The Product team is really interested in this and are going to be investigating this soon. Once I have another update for you I'll let you know 😊
still waiting...
Hello Erin Lakai, thanks for posting and supporting this suggestion. We'll be sure to let you know if there are any updates in relation to this idea.
Five years later and still not in iOS? This is basic functionality that limits the usability of the product. I understand that only so many features can be developed at once but am at a loss to understand why this hasn't made it in in the last five years (unless it's already implemented and I am just not seeing it?!)
Hi Lena, apologies for the late reply here!
I understand it can be disappointing, but the team continues to review this suggestion and the vote count it has (it helps the team understand how popular a suggestion is on the Community). They would like to work on this functionality in the future but can't yet prioritize it over other enhancements.

Following up on this - is time tracking available on iOS yet?
Hi Angelica Ramirez, yes, you can access the "Time tracker" option directly on our mobile app in item view 🙂
Please, let us know if you have any additional questions!
