How to Create Graphic of Project Progress?
Hello Wrike community!
I have been becoming more and more familiar with Wrike and its functionality through both trial and error experimentation, and finding articles via the Wrike community page to figure out how to do certain things. All of that being said, I still consider myself a beginner so to speak.
My question is if there is a way to create a dashboard that can represent project progress via a graphic such as a pie chart and/or other measuring graphics, and how to do it.
The purpose for this ask is to easily show my stakeholders that work in Wrike, graphics representing project progress outside of a report. Thank you all!
Hi Ian Edwards! Wrike has many reporting capabilities, it just depends on how you plan to visualise and access data.
I'd suggest having a read of the following articles from the Wrike Help Center, to discern which reporting function will be most appropriate for your team. I've also added some notes on how my team uses these functions at the moment to provide some perspective:
Chart View in Wrike - available at the space level. New Chart View offers drill-down into a list of the tasks that make up that result. We use for quick visualisation of progress in a project/space and to complete mass updates to small datasets.
Analytics View in Wrike - available at the account level, can report on multiple spaces. Offers highly customisable charts and graphs to visualise trends in data. Takes a bit to load and requires manual refresh. We use for tracking progress and visualising trends in large datasets.
New Dashboards in Wrike - available at the space level. Similar to New Chart View. We use for quick visualisation of progress against users and supporting task visualisation for users unfamiliar with Wrike.
Hopefully this provides a bit of direction!
Just following up Jess, the Chart view accomplished exactly what I needed for this project I was working on in my space. I appreciate your feedback and insight!
