We accomplished this through creating custom schedules and assigning them to team members.

  1. Create custom work schedule(s): we set the workweek to be the days they are scheduled to work and updated the daily capacity to match their scheduled hours (10 hours, 9 hours, etc.).
  2. Assign the appropriate schedule to your team members: for each user, edit the settings and choose the appropriate work schedule from the drop-down list.
  3. View the changes in a Workload or Resources view: while the "Daily Capacity" at the top will show 8h/d, next to each team member's name, you should see the hours per day that aligns with their custom work schedule. The view will turn red if the team member exceeds the hours assigned to their custom work schedule (not the default daily capacity).

Hope this helps! If you have specific questions, I would be happy to help further.

Hi!

Go to Setting > Work Schedules

You can edit default or create different schedules

As you can see for this user I've 2 workdays by week with 5h daily capacity.

After creating / update work schedule, go to user tab

Select user and change Work Schedule

I hope this help.
