Feature Updates

Now, it's possible to display project progress in the New Table view. It's display-only, so to enable progress, you'll still need to open the project.
  • New Table View - Item Type Selection Saved After Creating the First Item in + Item Menu
Now when you create a new item in the + Item menu in New Table view, the type of item you select in the blue drop-down is preserved until you select a different one manually or refresh the page. After refresh, it goes back to the default "Task."
In New Board view, there's now a possibility to collapse columns. The Collapse/Expand column option is located under the three-dot menu button that appears when you hover over the column.
To quickly expand the column, you can also click on it, when it's collapsed.
We introduced the Jump to top button that allows scrolling back to the top of the sidebar in one click. At the same time, if you have unread messages in your Inbox, the button turns red and displays that info instead of "Jump to top".
  • Workflows - Account Workflow Management Improved
We made some improvements to the management of account-level workflows in the Account Management section:
There's a new search field for quickly finding a specific workflow. You can search in the workflow name and in the name of the last person who updated the workflow.
You can also change the order of the workflows in the list by clicking on any of the three columns' titles to sort workflows by the respective parameter.
We're removing the New Home Page from Wrike Labs which means that if you hadn't enabled it previously, you won't see the card anymore. We've made this decision based on all available insights around this feature, and as we continue to enhance our Wrike Lightspeed releases. For now, you'll still be able to use this feature if you have it enabled and we'll be sure to keep you up to speed on future changes related to this.

Fixes

  • Dashboard Not Loading After Clicking Search Results
When some of you opened dashboards, searched for something, clicked on one of the search results, and then tried to go back to dashboards you saw a blank screen instead. Dashboards were loading for too long in these cases, but we fixed that.
  • Ampersand in User's Name Displayed Incorrectly in Comment Reply
If some users had "&" in their name, and you wanted to reply to a comment made by this user, the ampersand was replaced by "&" in the name. Now it's fixed.
  • Printed Calendar's Settings Not Saved When Printing From Tools Section
When some users opened a calendar as a space tool, changed its settings (e.g. zoom level or the color scheme), and then printed the calendar, in the printed version the settings reverted to the original state. Now it's fixed, and the settings are preserved when printing.
  • Following a Link From Project Update Email Opened a Blank Page
When some users opened an update email from Wrike and clicked Open Updates in Wrike to open the connected project, they saw a blank page instead of the project. We fixed that.

I love some of the new features like the New Board View - Collapse Column Option Added

I noticed that in the new table view there is not the possiblity to pull rows of data, or assignees, custom fields, ect like in the classic table view. See screenshot for a example, is this something that would return? I use this feature a lot in table and gantt view

The Workflow management really helps for the job of an admin. Thanks. Please make it similar with other admin themes like scedules, request forms and job roles.

I am hoping a bug fix for the issue regarding the List view being moved all the way down when enabling new views. It might be too late for me but hopefully for others that will come soon.

I do this all the time, but was having to constantly reselect the blueprint I needed. This will be such a time saver.

Happy to see sorting added to the workflow management table.  Almost makes me feel like your product team responded directly to the request I made for this a week or 2 ago!  LOL!  Wrike is always improving, and we greatly appreciate that!

While the new table view has a smoother look, one would expect it retain the same functionality as the classic view as mentioned above.  When can we expect the following to return?

  1. Pulling data
  2. Exporting to Excel
  3. Enabling/Disable progress for all projects

Agreed. It would also be great when you select active status that it selects only active status based on both project and task. To have to manually select is not efficient.
