Shared Mailboxes with the Outlook add-in
Our users love the new Outlook add-in. We use Shared Mailboxes heavily and users want the same ability to interact with those as they do with their personal inbox.
It would be great if the add-in can handle a connection to a separate account to allow this to work.
@Stephen, I just came across this issue as well. Do you know if there has been a resolution? Loving Shared mailboxes, not loving that Wrike won't work in them.
I use Outlook PC desktop. Logged into my account at OWA and the Wrike add-in is working there.
Is there an update on this request? The lack of support for a shared mailbox is making it difficult to implement a re-engineering of an intake process.
As per Outlook's add-in API requirement set 1.8 (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/office/dev/add-ins/reference/objectmodel/requirement-set-1.8/outlook-requirement-set-1.8) it is possible for the add-in creator (wrike) to activate their add-ins in the shared mailbox.
Please get your developers to activate the wrike add-in to also work within the outlook shared mailbox environment. This would be a huge benefit to many organisations including ours.
Wrike Devs: This is a must do! With so many shared mailboxes, having the Wrike add on work with them would be a huge game changer.

There are currently no plans to add this suggestion to the short-term roadmap. If there are any changes, I'll be sure to let you know.

A much needed feature to connect to shared mailboxes, as our team utilizes at least 6 shared mailboxes. Disappointing, as this integration is what first attracted me to Wrike.
Having a client that uses Wrike and loves it, but it's unfortunate the plugin won't help them in a shared mailbox setup still (2022!) Hoping I can maybe set them up to have a login to a the account/user that is the shared mailbox and see if that could work.

The absence of this feature is really a pity! community team thanks not to answer this unless to tell the community the feature is in development. @community do not forget to upvote the original post... with the current count of 9 this development is going nowhere... Cheers all!
