Client / Customer information

This is a question for the Wrike team.
Does Wrike have any future plans of adding a customer section?
I am on the Business trial at the moment and so far I like the software. Although I do understand this is project management focused platform, all projects are typically done for customers so it only makes sense to add this as a part of Wrike, as opposed to having to create folders for customers and then add the customer information as a task. This will do for the moment, but lets be clear, customers are not "tasks", they are customers.

I agree. For example - our clients each have a different style. Rather than writing it into each task - it would be great to have it pinned to the task due to a note in the client folder.

Thanks for sharing this feedback and use case here Lawrence. Currently, our Product Team's roadmaps do not include adding CRM/client features. Dustin has posted very similar feedback and Anastasia has shared some further relevant suggestions there too. I'd suggest reading and upvoting these posts too.

Thanks to you and Jocelyn for sharing your input on this here so our Product Team is aware and other members can discuss and vote!

I definitely agree with that.. it's something we terribly miss here :)

Projets / tasks are great to manage complex operations but we need a "second dimension" to followup with customers plan / contacts / notes for future use / etc. We still need to use Podio for that.

This would be so helpful, I don't think anyone's really talking a full CRM suite but more a directory of Companies/Contacts so we can tag projects/tasks against the Company and then provide a filtered view of reports/dashboards/analytics to the client so they only see the information relevant to themselves.

Thanks for bumping this thread Dan Cliff! Have you tried using tags? You could create folders for companies or contacts, color-code them, and then use them for tagging. Please let me know if that could help or if you've considered that already.

We have and currently leverage the tag approach with multiple tags to help drive some reports but it feels a bit clunky and has the added complication that we have to remove the tags before deleting a task/project or it will only delete it from the folder we're currently in and not the other folders tagged.
