Can't Filter By Custom Field 'USER'.

I need to be able to filter by my custom field of type USER.

I've included a custom field of users that I'd now like to filter by. I can filter by every other custom field I have but not the User field when using the task filter method. Oddly enough, I can filter by my custom User field in the report generator.

Hi Matthew, thank you for posting here, and sorry for the delayed reply! I can see that the Support Team has already answered this question for you, but I wanted to share the answer here in case anyone else is looking for it too. Currently it isn't possible to filter by user type Custom Fields in Table View, but it's possible to do this in Reports.

I understand that it would be helpful to be able to apply this filtering criteria in other locations as well, so I'm moving this post over to our Product Feedback section so other Community members could add their votes. Happy to hear any other ideas or suggestions! :)

I'm also interested on this. Using the reports is not a good option when you need to update some of the information from there.

This would be really useful in the Board view!

I would also like to have this ability.  It would be handy to be able to filter on this field to create certain Dashboard views.  Thanks

I would like better filtering as well, we enter so many wrike requests daily its difficult to track down your own requests if you are not sure the status of them.  The ability to search your requests only for "key" words would be awesome and a huge time saver.  Thanks :)

+1 Need this ability to filter by custom field "primary assignee" so that I can add to dashboard in chart format. Using the report only lets me see the list.

+1 We're also struggling with Filters not being flexible or customizable enough, and this is one of those issues we currently have. We already have too many 'alternative' solutions to basic built in features which should be working correctly (another one is being able to SAVE a filter)

In addition, it would be amazing to have the ability to map user custom fields in request forms (like you can for text or dropdown fields). We use forms to create projects from a template, and we include user fields for team reporting, so this would be a fantastic solution and remove additional work.

Thanks!
