Request Form - Task Location
I have a standard request form to launch tasks into folders. I would like to be able to use this standard form across multiple projects without having to recreate the form to specify the folders the tasks are launched to.
Is there any way to have one request form that can send tasks to multiple locations?

Hi Chris,
One way of doing this is to have a question with a 'Dropdown' question type. With dropdowns, you pick predecided values, and based on those values, you can add conditional branching and assignment. One example I'm trying out is a form for software help.
Within a Wrike folder, I have subfolders that fit different types of requests I'll get: help with a problem and adding a new feature, for example. Within that conditional branching menu, one option you have is "parent folder", so depending on which option they choose from the Dropdown, you can decide which parent folder it will go into.
Hello Chris Edwards,
Thank you for your question and welcome to the Community!
Desiree Dixon has the right idea here 😁
You can use the conditional response feature to select the folder or project where your task will be created. Start with a dropdown, checkbox, or importance type question and add your response options. Then hover your mouse over each option and click the branching icon on the right. Use the "Add parent folder" option to choose the folder or project for your task:
Please notice the wording here is "Add" parent folder. This means that if your request form already specifies a location to create your task, then this will add another parent location for the task and not replace the original location. If you only want your task to be in the folder/project selected by your conditional response, then make sure that no location is specified in the request form settings:
Please give it a try and let us know how it goes. 😊
Have a productive day!
