FEATURE REQUEST: System time stamp for Request forms

I need to have a system time-stamp available to me when we have people submit requests via a request form. Currently there is no way to track the actual requests by using system generated time. This is important to us for proper tracking of requests a they come in and to gauge when times they are completed.

Are you wanting just the date or the full timestamp? They do provide the date and who create the task (form submission).

Timestamp would be nice. Would be helpful to be able to start a project or task based on the submission date also.

time stamp would be very very helpful for us and the type of work we are using Wrike for. Having that feature would make the platform way more desirable.

Hi guys, this could be something the team thinks about adding when reviewing enhancements to forms in the future.

At this point use cases are important. Can you provide how you'd use this and why below?

For now, the workaround I've seen used for this is for the person who received the request, logs the time manually in a Custom Field(or wherever you want to capture this data). The information is available in the comments to stream under the first activity, as soon as the task is created.

Thanks 👍

Is this request had some interest ? Time stamping a form (full date and time) could be useful in order to make a first in first out schedule with the request received. It is found for example, in the Google form.

I also tried to use a form with Date as a question, to generate a calandar that show who is outside the office. Besides, using a custom field (witch is not very user friendly to input hour and minutes), it would be cool to have a full DD:HH:MM:SS type from questions directly. So user could choose the date and time they want to be shown in the calandar. But as you know,  the calandar itself can't show hours/minutes. BTW, I think it's the main reason why we don't use the Wrike calandar.

Hi everyone,
There's another request here: https://help.wrike.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/115000520849-Time-Detail-start-stop-time-entries-in-detail-in-Timelog

Wrike has responded that when the Likes hit 60, they'll review it for development.

The other thread is at 37, so please add your voice to that thread.

Thanks!

@Stephen - We use Toggl + Wrike because Wrike does not have time stamps.

As far as we know, there isn't an easy way to detect unlogged time using Wrike.

Lisa

Our staff are not super-tightly scheduled.  Not all tasks are pre-scheduled in Wrike.
If someone fails to record time, it's difficult to identify.  There is no report we know of that will high this.  Therefore, we have use another tool, toggl.com for time tracking.

Hope this helps.  Please see the other thread for others who have asked for this.

Thanks,

June

Hi everyone,

another use case:

We need for COVID reasonses to track people movements in different sites (1 main office + 2 other labs in different part of the town) so to know when people where somewhere in case a COVID case come up and to warn them.

So we would like to add a QR code at the entrace that send you to the Wrike form, with automatic detection of the time and date (so one has just to enter its name).
