รpinglรฉe En avantHey! Alina from product team here. As you know, recently we've launched a few releases aimed to help you expedite you admin and account optimization journey. These features are:
- Bird-eye overviews for Workflows and Custom item types across your account and spaces in a new, unified viewย
- Space archival proactive notification to help you detect and remove unused spaces
- Space Blueprints management is now restricted to space admins only to protect the piece of mind around management
- Ability to convert Custom item types from account to spacesย is now available to help ypu delegate custom item types management to relevant teams and reduce account-wide noise
I am happy to let you know that we have other things already cooking and soon we will announce a new portion of exciting updates ๐ In the meantime, I wanted to ask you on your experience with the recent releases:ย
- How was your experience impacted so far? How did those new features help you to improve your current admin work?
- What might be the next things you are looking forward to?
I'll start with our own example! With the space archival notification, we managed to remove almost all unused spaces. Overview experience helped our internal admin group to review and identify old workflows and custom item types which we now have marked for deletion.ย

I recently moved some custom item types to the account level and streamlined two parallel processes into one. This will allow me to make updates in one place instead of remembering to make them in two. Very helpful!
While the dormant space notification is helpful, I am reluctant to archive it because I don't know how to unarchive it if necessary.
I think fine-tuning still needs to happen in space permissions and admin settings. For example, I'd like my teams to be able to duplicate a dashboard in a Space, but they have to be admins to do that. We are not a large team, so we are finding that almost half the team are admins to get the access and functionality we are looking for, which is not ideal.ย
It is really handy to be able to see the workflows broken down by space and account.ย I found some that were created as account workflows but could be changed to a space workflow to lessen the clutter of account workflows.ย It would be useful to if there were stats available to show when the last time a workflow was used similar to how you can view this within the custom field menu.ย Sometimes I create a new workflow upon request from a team and unsure if it gets used enough to warrant it.
The space archival notification was useful for me as an admin as I create spaces for other teams and I was notified of a few that had not been used for years.
I would love to see a feature which allows Admins to group request forms within folders in the back end.ย I create a lot of request forms for our various teams and it would be helpful to be able to group these via team.ย I know folders for tools has just been released and this is excellent.
The new governance features have been wonderful. Being able to see workflows broken down by space is the first step in helping our organization clean up and consolidate our workflows. We really need this capability with custom fields now! Our organization has been using Wrike for many years and really did not have a governance team ensuring duplicate and excessive workflows and custom fields were not created. We really don't have that issue with CITs at this point, but being able to clean up the multiple duplicative custom fields is a huge need right now.ย
Folders for Tools? Where can I learn more about that? I don't see that available in my environment, yet.

Sara Gonzales I'm just seeing it now. If you go to the Plus Sign + next to Tools it's there as the last option under workload chart. I'm so excited for this!
It would be great if we could also have personal folders under our Pinned sections as well as that area can easily get cluttered.
