New Wrike Experience - Where's the folder/projects filter and why the folder/projects tree change?
Hi,
I really want to like the new wrike experience, but I feel that one key feature is missing.
On the old design, I could go top left in the filter section, start typing a project name and here I was.
I know this is probably not the usual experience, but we are dealing with hundreds of projects at the same time and I want to be able to go to the right project quickly without going through the list manually.
I know we can use the search for same result, but it's way less efficient.
I don't imagine this is hard feature to implement and this is a huge downside for me on the new UI.
Also side note, I understand from your design that the regular user should not be switching space frequently... Or why else it's so much more complicated than before?
Most of the new feature are great, but I don't understand why the change in the folder/projects tree.
The old view is by far easier to navigate and I don't see any improvement.
This is the show stopper for me to go to the new experience and it's the reason why I kept disabling it. (And I keep come back hoping it would be better)
Thank you so much for letting us know your feedback on the New Wrike Experience Guillaume Morency, I'm passing it on to our Product team now 👍

I have to agree - I cannot even remember the name of all of the folder - BRING BACK THE tree - I wish I saw this before I just renewed - I would have canceled by subscription.
Hi Guillaume Morency, Cathy Coia! Does the new hamburger menu that was just released help with the tree issue? Please let me know!

Hi Lisa , the new menu does address some of my issue with navigating through spaces, it is an amelioration.
The "filter search" bar that we have in the old menu is still a missing key feature for me.
With this, I am able to reach the correct folder/project in a few seconds. I can achieve the same result with the search engine, but it's a lot more tedious.
Just want to add another comment, that this filtering feature is rquired before we can switch.
Thank you, Steven Johnson, for sharing your feedback. I've passed it on to our Product team 👍🏼
Hi,
We really need an option to Filter Projects. The old Wrike Filtering tool worked well. We need to be able to filter projects within the tree structure. There is really no good Project Search Tool. The only way to search for projects is by looking for cluttered results in the opper right search box. When you actually click search to return results; all you see are tasks.
Need to return an option to filter projects within the hamburger menu. There is also now no way to filter out active/completed projects within the hamburger menu.
I work across multiple spaces; and it's now takes a few more steps to jump around between different spaces. It was much simpler in the original tree structure.
Thank you for posting here too Steven Johnson!
