Custom Item Types, Spaces, and Wrike Analyze

We are working on implementing a new space structure in our Wrike environment alongside simple, space-level custom item types and workflows for various teams across our larger marketing department. Does anyone have any tips or best practices to keep in mind as we set this up to power Wrike Analyze dashboards once spaces are launched?

Melissa DeKoff this is not a simple topic. My #1 advice would be to solidify reporting requirements and then use it as guide/input to your restructuring effort. for each report determine what data you will need and how will you calculate and this will help you figure out the best way to configure Wrike. In general here are some of the things that I have seen customers trip over

  1. inconsistent depth levels
  2. using folders for metadata (CFs are far better)
  3. using text fields instead of numbers or dropdowns
  4. using subtasks/subprojects for grouping without a real need for extra layers of hierarchy
  5. inconsistent naming convention
