MS Access Ability to connect to Wrike data in cloud

For Data manipulation or specific reporting Wrike is extremely limited & without basic functionality for most project teams. It would be good to use other applications such as MS Access or Crystal reports to be able to produce more concise & meaningful reports.

Hi Greg! Thanks for the idea! Wrike has a RESTful API, which can usually be integrated with numerous services, but everything depends on the specific application with which you want to create an integration.

MS Access has the ability to connect to SQL databases, but does not provide any built-in interface to interact with the API’s. However, it’s easily integrated with MS Excel, which does give an ability to connect to 3rd party servers or public API’s using the Power Query. Please read more about it here.
We are planning to write a Community post soon, which will be dedicated to Excel and Power Query. I’ll post an update here as soon as it’s published!

Could you please share some more details about Crystal reports? My brief research showed that only certain versions of Crystal support connection to RESTful API’s and web services: https://archive.sap.com/discussions/thread/3828416.

As a side note, in case you’re interested, I wanted to mention that another Community member started a similar discussion here.
