Custom board using a custom field as the main aggregator

Hi All,

as we know, the board view (classic and new) uses workflow as the main criteria to identify columns (and that's ok).

What if we could add custom board, arranging tasks by users, by custom fields etc?

In our company we use a custom field to cateogrize the main activity of a task (design, test, coding, copy etc) and we would like to see and save for all a board with 4 columns (design, test, coding, copy etc) according to the specific custom field.

Notion is already providing that flexibility.

It should be possible to name your statuses "Design", "Test", "Coding" etc. Can you tell me if you considered creating a workflow with such statuses in Wrike?

Hi Lisa, we've considered this but it's not optimal.
For example, if something is a BUG, we don't want to create a BUG status.

We love customo fields. They add a lot of meaning in tasks.
Boards should help us organizing items not just according to workflows but also through custom fields that are not statuses...
