Email to Requestor (ability to add a file from a Wrike task)
The ability now to Email to Requestor from a Wrike Task is great and it allows you to choose an attachment from a cloud service or your computer. We would like to see the ability to choose a file/document that is in the task.
Currently, our workflow is that once a task file has been commented on and updated, we save the file to our desktop or server location and draft an email to the submitter with the updated response. The addition of the Email to Requestor allows us to respond to the submitter with written responses and keeps all the communication within Wrike. However, most of our responses require the commented-on file in the Wrike task which requires us to save the file to the computer/network drive and then draft an email in outlook to complete the workflow for the submission. We even go so far as to comment in the task that email correspondence was sent via outlook on "x" date.
If the simple addition of allowing the user to choose a file within the Wrike task we could avoid having to use Outlook and keep all the history of the task within Wrike.
Appreciate having this feature added to the roadmap.
Agree, this would be a great addition to Wrike's functionality and increase efficiency across workflows. Thanks for suggesting Jeff!
