Numbered Lines in Tabels

It would be great if it were possible to add line numbers to tables that we insert in the description field that continue on their own. Like in Excel, for example. Currently we write the row number manually in a column. When a row is inserted, all row numbers have to be adjusted manually.

I have the same request - in MS Project this is avalaible and a great help to sort tasks etc..

Currently we are working around this with an additional field for a number.

Any chance to see something like this anytime soon?
