Intake Request Form Ideas
Hi Wrike Team! I'm currently the head of Marketing Operations supporting a number of different marketing and business development groups. I receive requests daily from our team and have found Wrike Intake Forms to be a huge help in managing these requests, but there are some key areas Wrike has the potential to capitalize on to truly make the Intake Form powerful. I've included some suggestions below and hope you are receptive to them:
- Form Intake Layout Update: We currently have a 48 page form and adding yet another page can be quite the task. The open space on the right hand side of a drafted form(beneath the 'Published' section) has the potential to have a modal that let's users jump to a specific page or move a newly created page up instead of dragging for days. This type of update would make lengthy intake form management ideal.
- Depend Form Fields: Dependent form fields would be a great way for users to cut down on pages and allow for better form logic as we're gathering details during the intake process.
- Subproject Start/End Dates: The Subproject and Subtask additions on the intake forms are great, but once the overall project is created, my end users have to revisit every subproject and reassign dates before dependencies take over. If we could assign dates for these subprojects/subtasks, that would make for an ideal user experience and help save time for our Marketing project owners.
- Subproject Folder Placement(Add Parent Folder Update) : Feedback that I've received from my Marketing team is that while they enjoy having insights into the project, they don't necessarily need to see it all. Our Creative and Digital Marketing teams only want to see the subprojects that are relevant to them in their space without having to mass update a parent project. If there was a third option to silo a subproject and place it in a folder(s) separate from the parent, this would help remove clutter from users who only want to see their projects.
- Rolldown Dates: This is more of a solution 2.0 if subproject start/end dates can't be applied from the backend of an intake form. Once the project is created, some type of a Rolldown Date solution would be perfect to help populate dates for not just the subprojects, but the tasks, too.
I hope some of this feedback is helpful. As a Wrike advocate, I hope you'll give the intake request form some love as I feel it's critical in the Marketing Operations space. Please don't hesitate to reach out directly with questions!
