I mostly use my Dashboard to open my tasks, which opens them in Task View (essentially a pop up window that floats over my Dashboard).
If I switch windows (e.g. Chrome, circled in red in the screenshot) to work on something else and click back into Wrike to refocus onto the Wrike App, but I happen to click outside of that Task View pop up (in the blue are in the screenshot), then it closes the task.
Then I have to find that task in my Dashboard again in order to reopen it.
I find this frustrating - I feel like your first click into the Wrike app should be more "forgiving" in the sense that if you happen to click outside of the Task pop up (very likely since often other windows are often blocking the middle of your Wrike app, where the Task pop up is), it will not then close the Task. It's very rare that I'm able to click directly on the Task pop up (green in the screenshot), which is the only way that the task would not be closed.
I use Wrike desktop app, fully updated, on Windows 10.
