Public Calendar Improvements

A suggestion on the public calendar. There's several departments, like our Sales & Account Management teams, who don't use Wrike at all. It's mostly for leadership and marketing teams. However, they love the visibility a "marketing calendar" presents, so they can currently see a task/project in a custom calendar view. But we're missing functionality to make it effective enough to use permanently.

It would be nice to have the following options as well:

  • Description of task be publicly available
  • Allow clickable hyperlinks in the description or attachments to a task be publicly available as well

Hi Colton Webb, welcome to the Community! 🙂

Thank you for posting your feedback here! Could you please clarify - by "publicly available", do you mean visible on the calendar view?

I second this request. We're trying to use a Wrike calendar to guide multiple teams and not having the task description visible to all end-users has us looking at other tools.

Hi Derrick Golon, welcome to the Community 👋

Could you please clarify - do you mean you'd like to see some of the task descriptions right on the calendar?
