Custom sorting on 2 columns?
Is there any way to have a custom sort on 2 columns?
For instance, if we have a lot of projects and have custom workflows for the projects, then the tasks for each project all start the same with 01, 02, 03, and so on. I would like to order first by workflow and then by title so that all of the "New" projects are together and then inside of the projects all of the tasks are in the correct order.
For example:
I have a project called "Wire Orders" that has a status of New and 6 tasks labeled 1,2,3,4,5 and 6.
I have a project called "Quality Dashboard" that has a status of "In Process" and 6 tasks that are labeled 1,2,3,4,5 and 6. With tasks 1-3 complete and 4 "In Process".
I have a project called "Zero Tolerance" that has a status of "In Process" and 6 tasks that are labeled 1,2,3,4,5 and 6. With 1 Complete, 2-3 "In Process", and 4-6 New.
If I order by Status then the Quality Dashboard project will be on top, which is fine and Zero Tolerance will be right under it, but then the tasks for each of them will be out of order.
If I order by Title then the tasks for each project will be in the correct order, but then "Quality Dashboard" will be on top, and "Zero Tolerance" will be under "Wire Orders".
Hi Michael McNair, thank you for posting this! There is currently no way to sort tasks in Table view based on multiple options. This suggestion has been passed on to the Product team.

Hey Michael McNair, while the Product team is interested in this suggestion, there are currently no plans to add this to the short-term roadmap. If anything changes, I'll be sure to let you know.
We've been looking for this for years.
