Collapsed Project Should Still Show Dependencies In Gantt Chart
Currently when collapsing project or folders the predecessor lines referenced to that project/folder just disappear.
My suggestion is to have all the predecessor lines instead of disappearing point to the beginning or end of the project/folder time line, essentially move up the hierarchy
Having them disappear as they do now make is easy to miss dependencies if a specific project happens to be collapsed. This would also be helpful to see dependencies at the project level
Hi Ray Haynes, thank you for this suggestion! It's been passed on to the Product team.
Fully agree with this. When a project or parent is collapsed, dependencies shouldn’t just disappear.
Users should quickly see connections without expanding everything in large and complex programs.

Yes, I have up voted this. This is in issue that has been reported to me also by other employees in the company.
This issue has not been fixed for the new Gantt Chart so changing to it won't help. Also, the new Gantt Chart introduces new problems in large interdependent programs and projects. I have reported them here: Feature request: Configurable hierarchy behavior for multi-home items (prevent double listing and preserve context) – Wrike Help Center
Thanks a lot, Teemu Nurminen, for getting back to me and further clarifying, as well as referencing your other thread. I really appreciate the clarity here. I’ve shared your comment with the relevant product team for their visibility. If there are any further updates, we will keep you posted 👍
