Hi Kristin Gibbons, welcome to the Community!

Currently, it's not possible to change IDs for projects. If you could share more detail on how you are working with IDs, I might be to advise or raise a ticket with Advanced support to see if APIs could help.

    Hi Kristin Gibbons

I take it you are working with Request Forms and thats how the ID is generated. One easy way we leverage is to setup at least one question on the request form to going into title as opposed to go into descprition. That overrides the generation of the Wrike ID. You could potentially setup a question on the form with either free text or Dropdown ID to put into the title.

For more complicated questionaires we put multiple things in the title. For example we have one single Form asking for a publication on social media, press release, website and others kicking of multiple tasks in the process. So the first thing going into title is who is asked to publish something and the second one is the topic of the publication.

Example: "Social Media Release - Remote Working During Corona" will be the project title.

    Does that help?

    Cheers
