Show the project tag on the task within a folder by default

Otherwise you don't see which project a tasks belongs to, when doing a dashboard with all overdue tasks

Yes this should be the Default setting - I spend a lot of time showing others this because they're confused.

I've created a thread of my own about this issue, and have seen others created by other people. It's obviously never going to happen.

Hey everyone, thank you for all of the feedback here. It's been passed on to the Product team.

As a workaround, would it be possible to create widgets based on some of the projects? This way, all of the tasks for a certain project would be contained in one place on the Dashboard.

So to see all overdue tasks you make a widget for every project and filter to "overdue" instead of having one widget with all the projects with overdue tasks. It also requires a configuration change every time a new project comes or goes. Last but not least it requires the space for the amount of projects in the dashboard.

The words cumbersome and prone to error come to mind.

You actually loose any dashboard view that cuts through all your dashboards and you get limited to views based on projects dimension. So no, this is not a workaround - it is a limitation, that can only be overcome by a not scalable, limiting in function, not even close to a workaround overhead of work

It's a workaround, but it's a clumsy workaround, and doesn't address the fundamental UX issue.
