    As I understand it, it is a universal, unchangeable, default setting.

    We've been having issues with the 6 minute rule in our team as well. Across the board, we wish it didn't exist at all, and all notifications were instant. (The delay between email & wrike notifications causes a pretty confusing workflow in an instantaneous work environment.)

     

    In your case, it seems like 6 minutes is not ENOUGH time. It also seems pretty absurd for Wrike to send a notification whenever a markup is made. Downloading a PDF, marking it up, and re-uploading it actually sounds like the best way to do it to cover for Wrike's UX flaws. However, it also seems like a simple fix for wrike to implement a "submit" button when marking up documents, so that you can take as much time as you need, and only commit those markups when you're done.
