How to include a request form in a Task

I am trying to figure out how to include a request form in a task that I would be assigning. Or is there a way to assign a request form ?

Hi @Erica, welcome to the Community 🙂

You can make the FOrm external and then add a link to it in the task:

And you can also assign a Request Form - that might be an easier solution. Please check out this Help Center article on creating and assigning Request Forms.

I hope this helps and please let me know if you have any questions 🙌

Hey Erica,

not knowing what's behind that ask and I might be way off mark here, but what we've experienced is: Whenever someone was asking for a task requiring another request form, we took the entire process apart and build it back up linking everything together.

For example designing a flyer goes through three steps at my place:

1. Copy writing + approvals

2. Visual design + approvals

And our third step until recently was the order request, which was handled separately from the other tasks with its own request form. What we did now is integrate it as necessary part of the template keeping it in a waiting position via task dependencies and workflow statuses until everything is in place.  That way our operations already know that something is in the planning stages but won't need to act until everything is done.

Dunno if that even remotely applies to you, but yeah. Whenever we ran into that issue we were probably still thinking in silos and needed to break that up.
