Project From Request form/Template: Task Date 'Add To Calendar' default?
We have a request form that creates a project based on a template. Within that template project is a task that carries a date that is essentially the 'End Date' for the project. That date is populated via the request form (user selects a date, and that selection becomes the 'End Date' for the project.) That works as expected. Example image: User selected 'June 6th' in request form, and dates are populated properly.
However, what we'd like to do is have that 'End Date' task /date be automatically added to a calendar that we've created. It's set that way in the template - added to a specific calendar. Currently for each new request, it's a manual click on 'Add to Calendar' within the task pane to get that 'end date' on the calendar.

Is there any way to have that 'Add to Calendar' setting carry over from the template?
Thanks,
Nathan
Hi Nathan, welcome back to Community! Great idea, we haven't heard this one yet as far as I can see here so perhaps this might be one for Product Feedback forum so others can vote for the idea and the Product Team has visibility.
For now, you could create a new Smart Calendar based on the folder or project these request tasks land in. Once the task has a scheduled date, it will automatically show up in this Calendar because it's based off tasks that are in there - would this help?
If you're looking to add Requests to different Calendars automatically based on an answer in the form then this mapping option is not available so we can move this post to Product Feedback forum as suggested above - let me know what you think 👍
I have the same request! How do we start to vote to get this added!?
Hey guys 🙂 I'm moving the post to the Product Feedback forum now; you'll be able to upvote it there. Once the suggestion hits 60 votes, we'll add a Product status to it.
