API Access to Blueprint sub-tree

I am creating projects using a set of "templates" in the main sub-tree. I've reviewed the doco and don't see a way to search for projects or folders in the Blueprint sub-tree. I've done some testing and they are not accessible using the standard calls.

Are they accessible? I'm using Azuqua and can hack my way in using HTTP GET but I'm not seeing blueprint objects there either

If they are still in BETA then wouldn't it make sense to include the API in that testing?

Hi guys, you're right, it's a Labs feature, so the team is still working on some functionalities. Right now, the team is focused on Blueprint operations in the native interface. Blueprints and API is something they're looking at as it's important to have this customization available; right now it's not available and I'll pop back here when I have more concrete details around dates etc.

If your workflow process API is set up with Templates, I'd advise continuing using this approach for that API calls until Blueprints are out of Labs and API supported.

Any questions, let me know 👍

Is there any update on the ability to access blueprint projects/tasks via the API?

Hi Laura!

It's currently not possible to access blueprint projects via the API. I'd recommend making a post suggesting this in the Product Feedback forum! Our Product managers will be able to give you a status update once the post reaches 60 upvotes.

Hope this helps!

Is there any update on the status of accessing Blueprint tasks/projects/folders via the API? They are extremely similar to their non-blueprint counterparts, this should have been part of the initial blueprint release...

So If I want to create recurring monthly tasks from a template/blueprint, what is the current best practice for doing that via the api? Links and details GREATLY appreciated in advance.  I'm looking to build a solution that mirrors this approach: https://agencyautomators.com/blog.html/2019/11/30/how-to-automate-monthly-project-creation-inside-teamwork-projects/

It's been nearly 3 years since this thread was posted. Is there still no way for the API to access task blueprints? Are there any plans to add more than just the 2 existing blueprints methods?

Hi SSEM Administrator, thanks for your interest in this. At the moment, it's possible to use API for Folder/Project Blueprints, but there is no public call for specific Task Blueprints.

This sounds like a great idea for the Product Feedback section of the Community. Our Development team constantly monitors this resource and if you add your suggestion as a new feature request, other users will be able to upvote your post. It'll help us better understand the demand for the enhancement to be implemented. We are always thrilled to hear how we can improve your Wrike experience!☺️

Thanks @...! I went ahead and posted in the Product Feedback section. If anyone else is following this thread and wants to upvote my plea for public APIs, I would be super grateful: https://help.wrike.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/4412626385943-Expose-API-methods-for-task-blueprints
