Dashboard - Adjusting Widgets

 This seems silly but,

I'm trying to get my team using Dashboards and I'm looking at the help page and I'm seeing you can adjust the widgets to stack in the help docs:

but I can't seem to get them off the linear:

I know my team will like the stacking idea - I'm trying to put together a "sandbox" to demo it first.

Any feedback on how I can stack them?
