Make sorting easier/quicker in Dashboard Widgets

I love that I can sort by different methods in the Files Widget by  Upload Date, File extension, etc and same goes for a regular task widget by Date, Priority, etc. but I'd like to toggle that easier. Currently, you have to click the upper corner, then click edit, then change sort, then click save. That's sooo many clicks for simple toggle of sorting. This would be especially handy for files.
