Desktop notifications vs. Inbox Notifications

I get desktop notifications whenever a task I subscribe to is updated, but the notification only appears for a few seconds, and then disappears. Since this type of notification doesn't appear in my inbox, I can't view the notifications to see what I missed, if I don't click on it before it disappears. Is there a way to see these notifications somewhere? Or a way to change my notification settings so they display for a longer period of time?

This seems like a MAJOR gap in the purpose and benefit of these notifications - who clicks on every notification on their web browser all day every day? And who is AT their computer every second of the day?

Once I realised that I was ignoring pop ups, thinking that I'd get the notifications inside of wrike (and I'm not) I'm super paranoid about all the communication that my team and I are missing out on. Please help!

In order to have up to date conversations in the comment section of tasks, I really need to be able to see these notifications in the Inbox. I get them all via e-mail but tbh no-one uses e-mail these days, and of course if you click the link in the e-mail it boots up a browser tab and won't go to the Wrike desktop app so there is a big disconnect there.

What I need is to have the notifications simply appear as a list in Inbox or it is too difficult to follow up on lots of tasks and comments in a timely manner.

Dara - if you look at the Stream section you can at least get a bunch of information there, however it doesn't tell you if there is anything new so you have to manually remember what you looked at and whether you did something about it.

Very similar request to this one: https://help.wrike.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360025471313-Inbox-notifications-for-comments-without-mentioning-me-or-my-group

... @wrike please help us combine these for a more powerful collection of upvotes on this very important request!

@Jamie Hey, thanks for reaching out! The thread that you mention is more about more control over Inbox, and this one is about notifications duration, if I understand correctly. We usually mark one of the similar ones as a Duplicate, but I don't think that I should do it in this case, what do you think?

My team is currently having issues with these notifications popping up and getting in the way. Is there a way to turn them off?

Hi Kristen Gundersen, do your team use the Desktop app or a browser? For the Desktop app, you can find the option to turn off notifications here:

  • Mac: System Preferences - > Notifications
  • Windows 10: Settings -> System -> Notifications & Actions.

For Chrome, you can find the option to turn off notifications by clicking the lock icon to the left of the Wrike URL.

Hope this helps!
