[Answered] Filter tasks - not in folder/subfolders

Completada

I have sorted he tasks I’m working on in specific folders.  But I have a problem with filtering the tasks created by other users, assigned to me, that has not yet been added to these folders.

So when users creates tasks and assign me, I can’t easily filter them, and I risk not doing these tasks.

I have tried a work around and changed the status of the tasks I have sorted to “in progress”, but when I in dashboard make a widget and filter tasks that are assigned to me, the “new” and “in progress” status are connected (can’t filter only “new”) in the workflow filter.

Any thoughts of how to filter the tasks assigned to me, that not already are located in specific folder/subfolders?

A great solution would be, if I get assigned to a task, the tasked get auto tagged to a folder of choice. eg. Inbox folder. This way I would have full control of all the tasks assigned to me.

Well I found a fix to the problem.

I created a custom field (check box), and if the task is in the specific folder/sub folders (already organized), I'll check the custom field.

From the search in table view I created a dashboard showing the results of tasks which are assigned to me, not checked in the custom field.

This way I can control my tasks that are assigned to my from employees and sort them in the desired folders.
