Assign a custom port to HookUrl for Webhooks

Regarding webhook creation, how can I assign a port to the "hookUrl" parameter ?
If I use https://mywebhookserver.com:1234/event-handler as the hookUrl, I receive this error :

{ errorDescription: 'Parameter \'hookUrl\' value is invalid',
        error: 'invalid_parameter' }

But if I remove the port part (:1234) it works just fine and the webhook is created.

Thanks !

Seems like you cant have any number in the url at all, not just the port. If you try it with only letters, it will work. Seems something in their code is detecting this and raising an error.

Hi,

why don't you allow ports other than 80 or 443 to be used in the webhook?

Regards

Hey everyone, apologies for the delay in response here.

80 and 443 can be used in the webhook as they are the default ports for http and https. Thank you for sharing your suggestions and feedback here, they've been passed on to the Product team.

If you have any other questions / feedback, be sure to let me know!
