Request Form and Custom Item Type

Hi,

We have a request form that is linked to a table (which is a tracker) in Wrike. Once the request is submitted the data gets entered into that table. Can we map the request form to a custom item type so when the form is submitted, it's entered with that specific item type?

Of course Megha Bagga,
in form settings (left side) you can specify what you want to create by filling form.
You can select "Create task from" and then select your custom item type or blueprint.

We do! Our form is HUGE and covers a lot of different request types. Depending on the request selected in the form, it creates a project based on the custom item type. We did this by using the single answer option and then depending on the answer selected in that drop down, we replaced the project with the custom item type template that goes along with it. Hope this helps!

Hi Megha Bagga,

you have now seen two diffenrent ways to use CIT's in a request form. Please note that only CIT's will be available that belong to a corresponding space. You could eventually add the request form to additional spaces to use the CIT's you need:
