Resource Management and Sub projects

In Wrike, there is a direct link between the task/delivrable and the project it belongs to. But what if you work with sub-projects or stages or phases. Then the main project is subdivided into sub-projects and there is no link between the main project (highest level) and Task Deliverable with the main project (3rd level). As a department manager in which 30 of these projects running, resource management proves impractical.
What are your experiences in this. A workaround?

Hi Cees Bakker,
could you link the last task of the first subproject, with the first task of the second subproject and so on.
I have a client that chains several jobs together via predecessor/successor in Wrike.
Does this work for you?

Hi Pietro, Thanks for the reply. If I understand correctly you're connecting tasks between task, lets say the horizontal way. I m talking to different levels ( the summup) functions instead task - up to sub project - up to main project. What I am looking for is to connect the effort numbers in the tasks to the highest project level so I can use the workload view per project instead of workload view per sub-project (os Phase / Stage).

Hi Cees,
have you tried to turn on automatic calculation?

Yes We do use automatic calculation . We also see that is not stable. You have to check if all the numbers below (in sub tasks) are in it. My motto for end-users (so me) Dont make me think :-)
