Searching in Single Select Dropdown

I have a few custom fields tied to request form questions that have hundreds of options. I've given feedback earlier this year, to help with the unwieldiness of managing a form on the back end with that many single select options.

Today is for UX. It would be great if you could search in the selection field, much in the way any form on the internet allows you to type, say "Ho" to jump to "Horse" as a selection. This way, people filling out the form aren't endlessly scrolling.

Hi Steve Mruskovicm

I'd say this is already possible. If I click in a custom single select field and start typing, the options will get filtered immediately. Which view are you using?

Hey Florian Kislich! I did just discover this on Friday. For some reason, our system (or maybe it's my computer!) has a bit of a delay before the text shows up, so I didn't think it worked. I went back to demo this to a colleague and then the character eventually popped up.

But I'd still love my other idea to get upvoted! Even if the list of items was accordian collapsable it would be helpful.
