Allow requesters to cross-tag in request form submissions
Hi y'all!
It would be super cool if there was a field type that was for cross-tagging in Request Forms (obviously, this would apply only to forms that are internal).
Either:
- Folders question type that allows you to search and choose one or more folders to cross-tag request to
- Project question type that allows you to search and choose one or more projects to cross-tag request to
The reasoning behind this idea came from our need to constantly cross-tag work we create to different projects or folders that we already opened. For example, we have a campaign project that was created and we make a request for a graphic, we'd want to cross-tag the graphics request into the campaign, but typically we have to do this after the request is made, grab the link, and tag it in. We often ask in our deliverables-based request forms if there is an existing campaign in Wrike for this ask and request a link, but it just displays the link and doesn't actually cross-tag. It would be neat if we could allow requesters to choose which locations they need, directly in the form, and have that cross-tag once submitted!
I would very much love this - you have my upvote! Right now, our team is working around this by having a question about if it is related to a campaign and then having a custom field listing our active campaigns that gets updated monthly (there is a recurring task to review active campaigns and update as necessary). From there, depending on the campaign that is selected, a series of automations occurs, such as tagging to the campaign and assigning the Project Manager of that campaign as a project owner.
