Issue with Parameters Removing Parent Project Data in Dashboards
We're really excited about the new parameter functionality in dashboards because it lets us create dashboards that work across various projects, spaces, and folders. However, we've encountered an issue: when we use a parameter to focus on a specific project, we lose the parent project information from the dashboard.
Our current setup includes a widget at the beginning of the dashboard that displays project name, health status, and comments. It works perfectly when viewing the entire space, but when we switch the parameter to a single project (like during project update meetings), the widget shows "no data."
Right now, the only workaround I can think of is to organize each project into its own folder. However, this solution adds unnecessary complexity and depth, which isn't ideal for our workflow. We believe there must be others who also want to use parameters to drill down into specific projects without losing essential dashboard information.
