Quick Task Reminder Option

Hello!

I know that we can set Automations to remind us automatically on tasks. But I still think there's a need to set a quick reminder on individual tasks that fall outside of the regular tasks that we choose to set automatic reminders on. I quick set reminder button on the task or within the settings of the task when you want to arrange a reminder would be very helpful. I'm curious to know what others think or how you may be setting custom task reminders for yourselves. Please let me know! 🙂

I use different methods to be reminded of a specific task. The standrd would be the due date, in combination with an atomation rule. If the task is not assigned to myself, I often use the star icon in combination with a dashboard widget that shows starred items. A third way would be a personal folder where I tag tasks, for example as topics for an upcoming meeting.

Florian KislichYeah, I thought of that. For me I just want a reminder to follow up on the progress of a task with various team members that I oversee. Basically, just a quick something to click where I can be, like remind me to check on where we are at in 3 days. Right now I just set reminders in Slack.

Upvoting this one: it would be extremely helpful to be able to quickly set a reminder for any task (not all that dissimilar to how one can snooze an inbox notification until a custom date and time). Being able to pre-schedule an inbox notification as a reminder would be excellent. Like others, I'm currently relying on Slack, but I would greatly prefer to be able to use Wrike for this.

Added an upvote - it would be great to add a reminder to individual tasks for various reasons, that don't fall into an Automation. For example, I have a couple tasks that are currently complete, but we want to revisit in February to ensure haven't been impacted by some potential external changes that are expected. I don't need all tasks to send a reminder in the project, just a few. I have thought of a workaround (adding them to a "reminder" location" and using an automation), but it would be great to be able to just flag the tasks and not have to cross-tag them to another location.
