Feature Request: General Comment Section for Task and Project Completion

I want to request the addition of a "General Comment" section in Wrike, specifically designed to allow users to leave a final note or comment when marking a task as complete. This functionality is currently available in most PM and PMO tools and has been proven to effectively capture final thoughts, actions taken, and important follow-up notes upon task completion.

Purpose:
The primary purpose of this feature is to improve tasks and Project type items history documentation and ensure key information or context isn’t lost when a task is marked complete. It would provide a space for users to summarize the task's and Projects  final status, note any important actions taken, or include other relevant details that might be helpful for future reference.

Key Features :

  1. General Comment Field Upon Task Completion:

    • When marking a task as complete, a pop-up or additional field will appear allowing the user to enter a comment or note summarizing the final actions or any necessary follow-ups.
  2. Display in Task History:

    • The final comment will be displayed in the task’s history or activity log, making it easy to review at a later date.
  3. Optional Field:

    • The comment field should be optional but encouraged for tasks where additional details would be useful for stakeholders or project managers.
  4. Editable After Completion:

    • The comment should be editable even after the task is marked complete to allow for updates or corrections as needed.

Benefits:

  • Improves documentation and communication between teams, ensuring final thoughts or updates are clearly captured.
  • Helps avoid confusion when reviewing completed tasks, especially in projects with multiple contributors.
  • Provides more context for project managers or stakeholders reviewing task progress and final outcomes.

I do like the idea of this being customizable too, as in having the flexibility to name what specific information is needed depending on the task/project. In a dream world, I would like this feature to simultaneously populate a custom field as well (that could be activated if necessary). When using reporting and exporting features in Wrike, it is sometimes helpful to be able to have this type of information save and be able to stay with the project.
